Joshua Tan is CTO at Current AI.
He also leads product and strategy at the movement for public AI, and leads Stanford AO, an incubator x lab for autonomous organizations at Stanford OpenLab.
Previously, he co-founded Metagov, a lab for engineering institutions. He completed his PhD and postdoc in CS at Oxford and previously held fellowships at Stanford (at the Digital Civil Society Lab), Princeton (in the CS department), and MIT (in the math department). His work explores the intersection between artificial and collective intelligence.
